Legal Philosophy

I believe in being polite but very persistent. My knowledge, experience and enthusiastic approach to the law work for you!

If you need to file for bankruptcy, I will work to discharge your debts and help you retain all of your exempt property. Furthermore, I am happy to give you advice on re-establishing your financial future! I've successfully filed over 6,000 bankruptcies since 1995.

If you wish to divorce, I believe in using a detail-oriented, low-key approach to obtain for you your fair share of the community property assets. As always, if children are involved, they are my main priority.

I feel fortunate to be able to work in a career that enables me to help so many people! And (I can't deny) I am very proud of the good job I provide to my clients!

• Judge Ashland -- The late judge for whom I clerked as a student. He was such a nice man!
• Judge Bufford -- Current bankruptcy judge who is very smart, and very fair. He has a Ph.D. in Philosophy, as well as his legal education. Isn't that great!
• Jesse Dukeminier -- My late Property professor from law school. He was such an amazing person. He had a natural knack for telling the truth without being offensive. And he was such a unique individual -- a person of initiative and independence. I'm so lucky to have known him. How I miss him!
• Sid Taylor -- My late father, to whom I owe my sense of humor and my sense of justice. I really miss him too. He passed away recently. I have learned that people may die, but the love we have for these people does not die with them.
• Dr. Ronald Ralbag -- A doctor whom I first met as a teenager, who provided me with meaningful advice throughout the years.
